We managed a phenomenally successful press campaign for 101 Films' release of Strictly Confidential, the debut feature by Damian Hurley, starring the inimitable Elizabeth Hurley.
Our hard work and tenacity ensured the film was far from confidential. When the Hurleys announced a special screening, it was all systems go, and we were asked to oversee the event and the evening itself at the Everyman Cinema in Chelsea.
We ensured that the star-studded event was a triumph, with the team handling everything from set up, to photographers, red carpet and media wall management. The results speak for themselves with extensive coverage across national, showbiz, consumer and entertainment media.
Then it was on to the two-day press junket. Again, we secured and scheduled a multitude of press spots for Elizabeth and Damian Hurley. Highlights include TV appearances on The One Show, Loose Women and Late Night Lycett, as well as radio and podcast interviews with Chris Evans at Virgin Radio, Magic Radio, Hits Radio, Times Radio, Grazia Digital and Abbey Clancy’s Exhibit A Podcast – to name a few.
There were extensive printed features across national, women's, consumer and film press. Notable pieces included an impressive seven-page cover feature in the Telegraph Magazine for their fashion special, which included a photo shoot and interview with Elizabeth, plus a four-page interview in Tatler Magazine with Damian and features in The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Metro, Vogue, Hello Magazine, Grazia Magazine, Filmhounds and more.
The film also saw an inordinate amount of news coverage across national press and entertainment media.
It was a pleasure to collaborate with Elizabeth Hurley again and be involved with Damian in his first major project and we look forward to seeing what he does next. We’re over the moon with the success of this campaign.
We have worked on some truly exceptional films over our 20 years in the business, but one recent production has inspired and moved us like no other… The Boy in the Woods, which received its UK digital release from 101 Films.
This incredibly powerful and important feature, directed by Rebecca Snow, tells the true story of Holocaust survivor Maxwell Smart, who, at the age of 11 and against all odds, survived alone in the woods of Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe.
It was truly an honour to work with Maxwell Smart, who is one of the most inspiring and genuinely wonderful people we have had the privilege to work with. It took the now 94-year-old many years to be able to share his incredibly harrowing and shocking story, but since he was approached by Rebecca Snow for her documentary on holocaust survivors, he has gone on to share his experience far and wide in the hope that it will educate and ensure that this horrific part of history is never forgotten and never repeated.
We secured fantastic media coverage for The Boy in the Woods, including a feature with Maxwell Smart in The Guardian G2 for a How I Survive feature that ran in print and online and a touching two-part interview with BBC World Service’s Lives Less Ordinary Podcast. We also placed interviews in The Jewish Chronicle and Dan Snow’s History Hit podcast, where Maxwell shared his story alongside director Rebecca Snow.
Rebecca Snow did further press including Mark and Me Podcast, BBC Radio London’s Gaby Roslin and BBC Radio Derby.
We also had limited press time with the hugely talented Richard Armitage also who had a major role in the film and was a delight to work with. We placed interviews across Total Film, Unquestionable Podcast, Games Radar, Digital Spy, Hey U Guys and Any Good Films.
