Parallel

What if you found a doorway to infinite possibilities? What would you do? How far would you go?

Thrilling new sci-fi adventure Parallel explores just that. This thrill-ride from director Isaac Ezban (The Incident, Barbarous Mexico), in his English language directorial debut, follows a group of friends who discover a parallel universe and with it the key to limitless power. Premiering at Fantastic Film Festival, Belgium, and subsequently screening at FrightFest Halloween in London, this wild ride of a feature comes to DVD and digital on 14 June 2021, courtesy of 101 Films.

Too Close

Bafta-winning actor Emily Watson gives another powerhouse performance in brand new nail-biting psychological drama Too Close, which is set to have viewers enthralled when it airs over three consecutive nights on ITV and arrives on DVD on 24 May 2021, from Acorn Media International.

Based on Natalie Daniels' best-selling novel, we enter the world of dedicated forensic psychiatrist, Dr Emma Robinson (Watson - Chernobyl, Apple Tree Yard), who has worked with her fair share of high security patients and isn't easily shocked... Homewrecker

Misery meets Single White Female - with an extra dose of (Let's Get) Physical thrown in for good measure - as a woman gets more than she bargains for when she makes a new friend at the gym in Homewrecker. This deliciously bleak and black satire, with gore and laughs in equal measure, is set for its UK premiere on 24 May from 101 Films.

When happy-go-lucky interior designer Michelle (Alex Essoe - Doctor Sleep, The Haunting Of Bly Manor), has a chance encounter at a fitness class, with the pushy and overly friendly Linda (Precious Chong - Falling Water, Flashpoint), she soon discovers there's more to her than meets the eye and training might be bad for her health.

When the pair meet at the gym, Linda convinces Michelle to come to her house and redesign it. Despite her wariness, Michelle's politeness wins out and she reluctantly agrees... but once at the house, she soon realises she's made a terrible mistake... as Linda's demeanour rapidly changes and her behaviour becomes increasingly erratic... could this one-woman wrecking ball threaten her whole existence?

As the dangerous and obsessive streak spirals out of control... Michelle grows more and more desperate to evade Linda's clutches and her increasingly bizarre and disturbing measures to trap her. As the violence explodes into a bloody gore-fest will Michelle ever break free from this one-woman wrecking ball of mayhem?

Lucky

It's time to get Lucky, as this thrilling new feature from first time director and exciting new voice in Ghanaian cinema Fofo Gavua is set for its UK premiere this May. Garnering critical acclaim on the festival circuit and selected for Lights, Camera, Africa Film Festival and Hip Hop Film Festival West Africa, this gripping drama follows the exploits of a plucky, down-on-his luck teenager trying to make his way in the world.

Giving a rare insight into the life of Ghana's youth, we meet the endearing Twitter-celebrity Lucky, played with aplomb by rising star Kumi Obuoabisa (Sophie), who lands a date with Nutifafa (Jane Efya Awindor), the most popular girl on social media. Desperate to move on from his ex Pamela (Buki Akiwumi - Sophie) and make a quick buck to impress his dream woman, he teams up with longtime friend Wadaada (Solomon Fixon-Owoo Jr - Eden, Aloevera), and their plan is to sell a macbook to fraudsters.
