Shark Killer

Violent, relentless and always waiting for the kill, the deadliest terror of the sea returns this summer in rip-roaring thriller Shark Killer. When one of nature's most ruthless creatures threatens your beach, there's only one man to call: the lay-about ladies man, Shark Killer Chase Walker (Derek Theler, Baby Daddy). So when a precious diamond becomes lodged in the belly of one of these flesh-ripping beasts, the man who wants it back knows who to turn to. The hunt is on. Enlisted by his brother, Chase endeavors to retrieve the diamond in the greatest challenge of his career yet. Keeping a close eye on him is Jasmine (Erica Cerra, Eureka) his brother's girlfriend, and as threats from a rival crime boss, played by The Mummy's Arnold Vosloo, draw closer loyalties start to shift. When the blood starts flowing and the sea starts churning, Chase will have to go deeper, fight harder and kill with absolute finality if he is to survive.

Falstaff Chimes At Midnight

To celebrate the centenary of Orson Welles' birth, Mr Bongo Films is delighted to announce the release of a brand new restored 50th Anniversary Edition of his masterpiece Falstaff Chimes at Midnight. One of the most radical and groundbreaking of all Shakespeare adaptations, Chimes at Midnight was Orson Welles' favourite of his films and will be in cinemas from 1 May 2015 as part of the 100 years of Orson Welles celebrations. This will be followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release on 29 June 2015. On the brink of Civil War, King Henry IV (John Gielgud) attempts to consolidate his reign while fretting with unease over his son s seeming neglect of his royal duties. Hal (Keith Baxter), the young Prince, openly consorts with Sir John Falstaff (Orson Welles) and his company. Hal's friendship with the knight substitutes for his estrangement from his father. Both Falstaff and the King are old and tired; both rely on Hal for comfort in their final years, while the young Prince, the future Henry V, nurtures his own ambitions.

Too Much Johnson

Shot in 1938 Too Much Johnson was Welles' first feature, the film that helped him hone his craft and led him to create to the masterpiece that is Citizen Kane. The footage was presumed destroyed in a fire in Welles' home in 1971 but was recently rediscovered in Italy and the restored 66 mins version makes its UK DVD debut. Too Much Johnson is an elaborate 1890s farce of mistaken identity. Cuckolded husband Dathis (Edgar Barrier) is on the tale of a man named Billings (Joseph Cotten), who has been having an affair with Dathis's wife (Arlene Francis). Billings flees by ship to Cuba, where now also hiding from his own wife (Ruth Ford) and mother-in-law (Mary), he adopts the identity of a plantation owner named Johnson, who is expecting a mail-order bride. Orson Welles plays a Keystone Kop.

The Immortal Story

Welles' second-to-last feature, The Immortal Story is an adaptation of a book by Danish author Isak Dinesen and stars Jeanne Moreau. The year is 1860 in the Portuguese colony of Macao, Mr. Clay (Welles) is an aging, rich merchant, who is the subject of town gossip. He likes his clerk Levinsky (Roger Coggio), to read to him to help him relax in the evenings and one night he recounts a tale about a rich man who paid a poor sailor five guineas to father a child with his beautiful young wife. Mr. Clay has no wife and no heir to his fortune and resolves to make the story true...Levinsky approaches Virginie Ducrot (Moreau), another clerk's mistress, and strikes a bargain for 300 guineas. Now to find the sailor...

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

IT'S ONE of the BBCs most ambitious and bold productions to date, a major new adaptation of Susanna Clarke's acclaimed novel, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, and following its hugely anticipated, seven week run on BBCOne from Sunday 17 May, it makes its DVD & Blu-ray bow on 29 June 2015 courtesy of RLJ Entertainment's Acorn Label. Kidnapping: La Sfida

Charismatic Italian star Luca Zingaretti forsakes his familiar crime-fighting role as TV's Inspector Montalbano to play a character most definitely on the wrong side of the law in Kidnapping: La Sfida (The Challenge). This emotionally charged thriller about kidnapping, guilt, redemption and the power of family ties comes to DVD on 22 June 2015, courtesy of Odyssey. Heinz Hoenig (Das Boot) stars as Max Klausner, a wealthy workaholic German industrialist, whose young son Tommy is kidnapped while on holiday in Sardinia. The kidnapping is just one of the torments besetting Max; he begins to suspect the kidnappers identities and also faces blackmail from his shady business partner. As realisation sets in Max faces the toughest test of a father's love; he must save his son.

Gracepoint

Gracepoint, the eagerly anticipated American adaptation of international phenomenon Broadchurch, has finally arrived in the UK. Starring the inimitable David Tennant as Detective Emmet Carver and Emmy Award winning Anna Gunn as Detective Ellie Miller, the enthralling Gracepoint will make its home entertainment bow courtesy of RLJ Entertainment's Acorn Label. Adapted and created by Chris Chibnall (Broadchurch, The Great Train Robbery), the slow-burning whodunit expands on the critically acclaimed ITV drama, threading new storylines through the fantastically gripping narrative. The 10-part series comes to DVD as a stunning three-disc set on 8 June 2015, following its run on ITV Encore.
