Line of Duty Series Three

Hit series, Line of Duty from renowned writer Jed Mercurio returns for a brand new thrilling series on BBC Two, and comes to DVD from RLJ Entertainment's Acorn Label. Starring the brilliant Daniel Mayes (Mrs Biggs) as the new antagonist under investigation by the anti corruption unit AC12, and featuring the stellar returning cast Adrian Dunbar (Ashes to Ashes), Vicky McClure (Broadchurch), Martin Compston (The Great Train Robbery) and Craig Parkinson (Misfits), Line Of Duty Series Three comes to TV screens in March and arrives alongside Line of Duty Complete Series One to Three Box Set on DVD 2 May 2016.

Next of Kin

Directed and produced by BAFTA winner Gareth Gwenlan (Only Fools and Horses) and starring renowned actor Penelope Keith (The Good Life), William Gaunt (The Champions) and Jeremy Swift (Downton Abbey), Next of Kin is a British sitcom that aired on BBC One from 1995 to 1997, and now it comes to DVD as Next of Kin: The Complete Collection.

Well-to-do couple Maggie and Andrew Prentice are forced to abandon their dreams of early retirement after they reluctantly become guardians of their orphaned grandchildren, following the death of their estranged son.

Nature Boy

17 year-old David (Lee Ingleby - The A Word) has only vague memories of his father (Paul McGann - Withnail & I), who left many years ago after endowing him with an early love of nature. Determined to track him down, David leaves home and embarks on a search along the way finding love, pain and a new purpose as he becomes involved in environmental campaigning.

Directed by BAFTA winner Joe Wright (Atonement) and written by Bryan Elsley (Skins), Nature Boy (2000) is a moving rite of passage that won the Royal Television Society 2001 award for Best Drama Serial and also stars Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey).

The Hound of the Baskervilles

For generations the Baskerville family is believed to have been cursed by a diabolical killer hound that prowls the fog-shrouded moors of their estate.

When Sir Henry Baskerville is found dead, the great detective Sherlock Holmes embarks on his most famous case in The Hound of the Baskervilles (1983) with the loyal Dr. Watson (Donald Churchill - Zepplin) by his side.

In this classic tale of murder and deception in the eerie English countryside, Sherlock will need all his skills of deduction to unravel this haunting mystery and the legend of the hound.

The film has been given a brand new 4K restoration and will make its debut on Blu-ray alongside a DVD release, with newly commissioned artwork by Graham Humphreys. The film stars renowned actor Ian Richardson (House of Cards) as the iconic detective, and will be available on DVD, Blu-ray, download and on-demand on 25 April 2016 courtesy of Second Sight.

The Sign of Four

A young woman desperate for help enlists the aid of Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson, this time played by David Healy (Labyrinth) in The Sign of Four (1983).

Drawn in by her intriguing tale the game is afoot and they begin to delve deeper into the case of a missing army captain in India, secret pacts and a king's ransom in stolen jewels.

All the while they must keep Mary Morstan (Cherie Lunghi -Excalibur) safe as they are all shadowed by a mysterious peg-legged man and his dangerous associate.

The Ginger Tree

Starring Samantha Bond (Golden Eye) in one of her earliest TV roles, The Ginger Tree (1989) is a period drama based on a novel by Oswald Wynd and adapted by Oscar winner Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons).

In 1903, a young Scottish woman, Mary MacKenzie (Bond) travels to Manchuria to marry a British army officer. Disenchanted with her husband, Mary falls in love with a married Japanese nobleman, Count Kentaro Kurihama (Daisuke Ryu - Ran) and bears his son. But when he brings her to Tokyo, Mary soon faces hardships and ostracism as both a Westerner and a woman.

This compelling BAFTA winning series was a co-production of the BBC and NHK Japan and was the first TV drama to be recorded in HD by the BBC.
