Liverpool 1

Liverpool: the home of heroes and legends. Football, The Beatles, Ferry Across the Mersey- people know this city. At least, they think they do... Merseyside CID know another Liverpool. Day to day, on the streets, they're at the sharp end of the fight against the drug pushers, porn barons, paedophiles and pimps who run this great port's crime networks.

Liverpool 1 is a gritty drama that originally aired on ITV in the late 1990s, from BAFTA award-winning directors Ken Horn and Terry McDonough. Starring a wealth of great British acting talent including Samantha Womack (Eastenders, Game On), Scot Williams (Mersey Beat, Meadowlands) and Mark Womack (Murphy's Law, Babylon) and featuring the inimitable Carry On favourite Leslie Phillips CBE, it comes to DVD for the first time in the UK thanks to Simply Media as a bumper 4-disc set on 15 August 2016.

Grace of My Heart

Inspired by the life of internationally renowned singer songwriter Carole King, acclaimed feature film Grace of My Heart, arrives on DVD on 15 August 2016, following hot on the heels of Carole's hugely successful concert in Hyde Park, her first performance in London in 30 years. With the successful smash hit Broadway show Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, still selling out in London's West End, Carole's star continues to shine brightly.

Featuring a stellar cast, a stunning soundtrack and Martin Scorsese as executive producer, Grace of My Heart hits all the right notes as it charts the inspirational story of a female singer-songwriter's struggle to make her mark in the dynamic American music scene of the 60s and 70s.

Set at the time when prodigiously talented singer-songwriters were fighting for recognition in a tough, male-dominated music industry, Grace of My Heart traces the 'long and winding road' to stardom of Denise Waverly (Illeana Douglas - Six Feet Under), whose songs bring fame to other people - until she finds her own voice. This influential story also stars Eric Stoltz (Mask), Patsy Kensit (Absolute Beginners), Bridget Fonda (Single White Female), Matt Dillon (Crash) and John Turturro (Barton Fink).
